Ryo’s Ramen, Crows Nest

Winter is officially here in Sydney. If you are out there braving the cold, clutching tight to your coats and scarves, you are not alone ๐Ÿ˜‰ ย Hang on tight and think of something warm, “nourishing” and squiggly. Yes, I am talking about the ever popular hole-in-the-wall ramen house up North.

Ryo’s ramen has become a tradition of mine to visit whenever the chill hits the city. I would crave for something with a hearty pork stock, ribbons of pork and chewy noodle. And butter, if you wish to take it even further (down the heart attack path).

My personal favorite has always been the Spicy Ramen in Tonkatsu Soup with Roast Pork, Egg, Shallots and an additional topping of Nori.

The best part is there is a “Less Salt” option for the Tonkatsu soup!

Spicy Ramen

Slurp the soup, gulp it down if you may. But just enjoy the warm feeling of it settling in your tummy. The soy-soaked runny hard boiled egg is such a perfect companion.

This is how you brave the cold, FOODYPHILE STYLE *puts shades on*
